Specializing in the Following Areas

Through therapy you can identify and reframe the negative thoughts and behaviors that keep you stuck. By working together in exploring healthier coping skills and assisting in developing healthier relationships, the benefits far outweigh the negative. A collaborative relationship is formed to assist the individual to gain insight, develop coping skills, and increase quality of life. Individual therapy can take place in an office setting or by what is known as tele-therapy. Therapy can mirror life coaching, and also can address several criteria that individuals struggle with, for example; anxiety, depression, substance use, self harm, and trauma.

Family counseling can be highly effective when or if the family unit is feeling stuck and lacking healthy communication while struggling with its current status and/or environment. Attending family counseling can assist in integration of families with kids of previous marriages. Family therapy can assist single parents in building a strong collaborative relationship that may emphasize communication. Family counseling can be helpful with separation of families, such as divorce, a death, and even deployments with those who serve in the military.

Relationships in today's world can be very difficult and sometimes require assistance. Engaging in couples therapy allows both individuals to collaboratively engage in the growth of the relationship. Sometimes changing occurs in a relationship through hardships and milestones and affects each individual differently. Through the journey of couples therapy, the work can be difficult but highly rewarding.

Group therapy consists of up to ten individuals that are screened and put together due to similar issues such as anxiety, depression, substance use, and domestic violence. As a group each member shares their struggle from their personal experience, provides feedback and assists with collective group and personal growth. Studies show group therapy is highly effective and has extensive long term benefits.
